I am a current Ph.D. student working on my dissertation. I received a B.A. in Anthropology and an M.A. in Sociology from Texas State University. Teaching sociology to all age ranges and populations and doing work geared towards equity, diversity, inclusion, immigration, and human rights is my career focus because it provides the ability to improve lives by providing people with a better understanding of the world around them.
